I emphasized that preserving stability in the region is of vital interest to our country and pointed out that the arbitrary moves of Pristina and initiatives such as the draft resolution of the UN General Assembly on Srebrenica do not in any way contribute to the process of reconciliation, building trust and cooperation in the region. I reiterated my gratitude to the Russian Federation for its firm stance regarding the territorial integrity of Serbia, as well as for respecting our sovereignty regarding independent politics and the unique path that our country has chosen.
