The relations between Serbia and Hungary are at the highest level during our difficult history. I am grateful to the Hungarian leaders, President Ader, Viktor Orban above all and the previous president Katalin Novak, and the respected President Tamás Sulyok for always sincerely advocating for good, open and friendly relations with Serbia," said Vučić in his address at the Palace of Serbia.He emphasized that the Hungarian people and Hungary as a country enjoy great popularity in Serbia."I would say that we perceive the Hungarian people as sincere friends. And all that we will do together today, I believe will be another link in the chain of our even stronger and stronger friendship. We also have numerous common interests. With thanks for the support on our European path, I would like to say that the economy is what confirms our political ties in the best possible way," Vučić emphasized.President of Serbia emphasized that the Vojvodina Hungarians have a special role in the relations between Serbia and Hungary, and he especially thanked the President of the Association of Vojvodina Hungarians, Balint Pastor, who attended today's talks with the Hungarian President."Serbia wants a policy of respect, mutual respect and friendship, as well as fraternal relations, and I believe that there will never be a situation where I repeat that a Hungarian sign should be placed on the railway station.
