The court in Lausanne released an official statement confirming that the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has filed an appeal against the decision related to Sinner.WADA had previously appealed the decision by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) to declare that Sinner was "without fault and without negligence" after the whole incident and that he had passed without any suspension.CAS states that Sinner, ITIA and ITF have been notified of the appeals process. In addition, WADA requires the Court to confirm the forfeiture of all awards to Sinner for the results in Indian Wells, but also to suspend him for a period of one year and two days, as was previously known."The arbitration process of the CAS has begun," the statement said, adding that the Panel will now review the evidence, as well as the testimony of both sides."At this moment, it is not possible to determine when this decision will be made. The decision of the CAS will be final, only with the possibility that one of the parties may appeal to the Swiss tribunal within 30 days, possibly only for some items," CAS underlined in announcement.
