Actress Rada Djuričin died

Radojka Rada Djuričin was born on May 31, 1934 in Vr&scaron;ac, where she completed elementary school and high school. She graduated in acting in 1958, and the following year in Yugoslav literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.She made her debut in 1958, playing the role of Anne Frank in the play The Diary of Anne Frank at the National Theater in Belgrade.She was a member of the ensemble of the Yugoslav Drama Theater from 1958 to 1998.She collaborated with our most respected directors, such as Hugo Klein, Mata Milo&scaron;ević, Bojan Stupica, Miroslav Belović, Branko Ple&scaron;a, Dejan Mijač, Boro Dra&scaron;ković, Ljubi&scaron;a Ristić, Milenko Maričić, Vida Ognjenović, Ljubomir Dra&scaron;kić, Jago&scaron; Marković.During her long career, she played in the plays of the National Theater in Belgrade, Atelier 212, Zvezdara Theater, KPGT, Bitef Theater, Du&scaron;ko Radović Small Theater, National Theater in Ni&scaron; and Užice, Madlenianum, and other smaller and independent stages. But she played the most roles, over forty, on the stages of her home theater, in the Yugoslav Drama Theatre.She received many theater awards, among others the Golden Wreath at the Festival of Small Scenes in Sarajevo (1973), the Ćuran Statuette at the Comedy Festival in Svetozarevo (1975), the Golden Medal of the Rublika Jury at the Zemun Monodrama and Pantomime Festival (1996).Rada Djuričin performed a large number of roles in other media as well, in almost thirty feature films and fifty television productions.By decree of the President of the Republic of Serbia in 2018, Rada Djuričin received the Gold Medal for Merit.Rada Djuričin wrote and published two books: The Secret of the Black Hand: Diary of an Actress (1999) and My Monodrama (2005).She translated the works &#39;&#39;Oh, I am very, very happy&#39;&#39; by Dario Fo, as well as the works of Martin Sherman.She was a journalist-anchor at Radio Belgrade.
