The Danish parliament later rejected it, and Slovenia will consider it on Tuesday.Israel opposes the recognition of Palestine, arguing that it strengthens Hamas.

The UN called on everyone: Recognize Palestine
A group of United Nations experts today called on all countries to recognize the Palestinian state in order to achieve peace in the Middle East.
