During the fifth round of dialogue on the unilateral decision of Pristina to cancel the payment transactions in dinars in Kosovo and Metohija, the delegation from Belgrade will be led by the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petković, while the Pristina side should be represented by its chief negotiator Besnik Bislimi.Petkovic said on Tuesday that he is coming to Brussels with his team, which also includes financial experts.&quot;We are going in the hope of finding a solution for the dinar, although I am not an optimist, bearing in mind Pristina&#39;s unwillingness to seek solutions through compromise,&quot; said Petković.The European Union&#39;s special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajčak, said on Monday that later this week he will host the main negotiators of Belgrade and Pristina for a new round of talks, with the aim of finding a temporary solution for the people affected by the decision of the central bank in Pristina to KiM to abolish dinar.&quot;I expect that both parties will come to the meeting with open minds, be flexible and oriented towards finding a solution, based on the ideas presented at the previous meetings,&quot; Lajcak said on Facebook.The last meeting of the main negotiators of Belgrade and Pristina, which was dedicated to the decree of the Central Bank in Pristina, according to which the only currency allowed in cash payment transactions in the KiM is euro, was held on April 4 in Brussels.Petar Petković, Belgrade&#39;s chief negotiator, then stated that the Belgrade delegation presented a balanced proposal for a solution to the payment transaction problem, which implies a compromise solution, but that Pristina did not show willingness to do so.According to the decree of the central bank in Pristina, from February 1, the only currency in which cash payments are allowed is the Euro, which means the ban on the dinar. This brought into question the existence and survival of the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, who receive their income from the Serbian state in dinars.
