OpenOffice.org application suite is now available in both Serbian Cyrillic and Latin alphabets in its 2.4.1 version. The localization of this free software, which looks to dent Microsoft's dominance in the office suite market, was carried out by the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Belgrade and Serbia's free software community. OpenOffice localized to Serbian The Ministry of Telecommunications financed the project. The complete user interface has been translated to both Serbian alphabets, and the package, among other features, includes a Serbian language spellchecker. This complete localization makes it the best office suite with Serbian support in our market. This localized version is available for GNU/Linux and MS Windows OS users.
