When it comes to the Rafah crossing, Jabarin pointed out that during the negotiations, Hamas insisted that the management of the crossing be a Palestinian-Egyptian matter.

Jabarin revealed that negotiations for the second phase of the cease-fire agreement in the Gaza Strip will begin in two weeks and will focus on three points: a complete withdrawal of Israel from Gaza, a permanent and comprehensive ceasefire and a full exchange of prisoners.

He emphasized that the reconstruction mechanisms will be part of the third phase of negotiations, stressing that mediators will guarantee this.
