That's it: Donald Trump is in the White House; Half of America is shaking
Donald Trump is sworn in today, becoming the 47th president of the United States. The official ceremony is expected around 18:00 CET.
The ceremony will take place at 18:00 CET in the US Capitol, which, let's recall, was stormed four years ago by Trump's supporters, trying to prevent the defeat of Taump by Joe Biden in 2020.
The ceremonial inauguration, which normally takes place outside the Capitol, was moved inside due to extreme cold. Namely, temperatures of up to -11 °C are expected.
According to the published schedule, after being sworn in as the 47th president of the United States, Trump will address the nation and then parade through the city to the White House.
Around 200,000 of his supporters are expected on the streets.

Half of America is "shaking"
US President Donald Trump plans to issue more than 100 executive orders and directives on a wide range of issues, including migration, energy and new tariffs on China, Canada and Mexico, after he is sworn in as US president today, two sources said for Reuters.
Trump's nominee for national security adviser, Mike Waltz, pointed out that border issues are the most urgent and that American voters gave Trump a clear mandate to "close the US borders, deport the worst of the worst, and start a fight against the cartels."
Trump promised in late December that immediately after taking office on January 20, he would begin "the largest deportation operation in American history."
In addition, Trump has promised to end automatic citizenship for those born in the United States whose parents are in the United States illegally.
He also said that on the first day of his mandate, January 20, he will stop the "transgender madness", stating that under his administration there will be two genders - male and female.
During the election campaign, he promised to reduce the cost of living for Americans thanks to a different approach to energy resources. Trump also promised to increase oil exploitation.
The sources said that Trump is also planning to withdraw the US from the Paris climate agreement again, which he already did during his first term.
According to sources, he also plans to ban the import of electric cars, components and battery materials from China.
Trump also announced an increase in tariffs on products imported from China, Mexico and Canada.
He also announced that he will take immediate action to pardon some of the hundreds of people who have been convicted or charged in connection with the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol by his supporters.
He also plans to classify drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.
Trump also announced that he will cancel the work from home of federal employees that was introduced during the corona pandemic and threatened to fire those who do not comply.
