The War Cabinet voted to approve the agreement with Hamas: The names of 33 hostages released
Israel's war cabinet voted today to approve the agreement on the release of hostages and the ceasefire with Hamas that was reached last night in Doha, according to the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The agreement will now go to the government for consideration and a vote, which is expected before Shabbat begins, The Times of Israel reported.
The recommendation was made "after examining all diplomatic, security and humanitarian aspects" of the agreement, with the understanding that the agreement "supports the achievement of the goals of the war", according to the office.
The office did not reveal who voted to support the move, but the parties of Bezalel Smotrich, Religious Zionism, and Itamar Ben-Gvir, Jewish Power, said they would not support the deal.
Earlier, the government said the plan would still be implemented from Sunday despite bureaucratic delays, meaning the High Court would still have to hold a hearing on claims against the deal, although it is not expected to intervene.
Names of 33 hostages released
Israeli authorities have published a list with the names of 33 hostages to be released in the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas militants, the Times of Israel reports.
The list is not in order of release and does not specify the condition of the hostages, and authorities in Tel Aviv believe that most of the 33 are alive, the portal said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office confirmed early this morning that Israeli and Hamas negotiating teams in Doha signed an agreement on a ceasefire and the release of hostages.
The first phase of the agreement, which lasts six weeks, includes the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, as well as the release of 33 Israelis, including women, children and men over the age of 50, as well as two Americans - Keith Siegel and Sagui Dekel-Chen.
Negotiations for the second phase of the agreement will begin on the 16th day after the start of the first phase, and that phase is likely to include the release of all remaining Israeli hostages held by the Palestinian militant group Hamas, a permanent ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza, in exchange for the release of more than 1,000 Palestinian prisoners.
The third phase will involve the return of all remaining bodies and the beginning of the reconstruction of Gaza under the supervision of Egypt, Qatar and the United Nations.
