Shock! It's been hit... Kim's going to go berserk? PHOTO
A video purporting to show a Russian drone destroying a radar used by Ukrainian forces has surfaced on social media.
However, the analyzes point to a possible error - the destroyed radar could be part of the North Korean anti-aircraft defense system in Kursk, reported "Blic" writing of "Kyiv Post".
It also points out that the loss of equipment points to problems in coordination and communication between Russian forces and their North Korean allies.
Did the Russians mistakenly hit North Korea's air defense system?
Analysts wonder how the North Korean system got into Ukraine, given that it has not been seen on the battlefield before.
There is a possibility that the system is an unidentified weapon sent by Pyongyang to Russia, along with ballistic missiles and other military equipment.
The system was first seen during a parade in Pyongyang to mark the 75th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) in October 2020.
Kim will get mad at Putin?
The drone operator who carried out the attack is believed to have been unfamiliar with the equipment and assumed it was a Western system deployed by the Ukrainian military.
Experts suggest that high casualties among North Korean troops and the destruction of their military equipment by Russian forces could harm relations between the two countries.
