Drama in Norway: A plane with 170 passengers landed from the runway PHOTO/VIDEO
The Boeing passenger plane, with more than 170 passengers, landed last night from the runway at full speed in the city of Molde and stopped just a few meters from the sea.
It is a plane that landed from Oslo, and according to the first information, none of the passengers and crew members were injured in the accident.
Norwegian said Thursday evening that weather conditions were the reason the plane ended up off the runway.
According to them, there was, among other things, a gust of wind, and the runway was slippery. The technicians from Norway arrived in Molde on Thursday evening.
The Norwegian Accident Investigation Board and police forensic technicians, together with technicians from Norway, will follow the case today.
"Today we will undertake various investigative actions that were pending after yesterday. There are various people who were involved in the incident and who need to be investigated," said Jürgen Molnes, operations manager at the Møre og Romsdal police district.
