Ukraine warns: The army received an order; Is a bloodshed brewing?
Russia is preparing North Korean soldiers for direct participation in the battles against Ukraine, as it is assumed that the forces of Pyongyang will enter the fight against the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Kursk, Ukrainian Defense Ministry says
The announcement states that the command of the North Korean units has already received an order to enter the war with Ukraine, as well as that they recently received additional food supplies, Ukrainian Union reported.
"They are prepared and ready to attack: North Korean soldiers are preparing for direct participation in hostilities, the Command of the North Korean Army in Russia has been ordered to interact with neighboring Russian units conducting combat operations in the Kursk region," the Central Intelligence Agency announced.
Ukrainian military intelligence reports that "on December 13, 2024, units of the North Korean army were placed on alert and ordered to await further instructions."
"Part of the personnel of the North Korean troops was secretly transferred to the front line in civilian trucks, which look like water delivery vehicles," the statement said.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that there are about 12,000 North Korean soldiers deployed in the Kursk region.
