The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that in the last 48 hours, they have carried out almost 500 attacks on weapons depots and strategic infrastructure in Syria, writes the Guardian.

The IDF said the Israeli Air Force carried out 350 air strikes against Syrian military targets, including weapons factories in Damascus, Homs, Tartus, Latakia and Palmyra. Among these targets were airstrips, anti-aircraft gunships, drones, planes and tanks.


During "ground operations" he carried out another 130 attacks on weapons depots, military facilities, missile launch systems and bunkers.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Tuesday that Israel had destroyed the Syrian navy fleet and that Israeli forces had encamped in the buffer zone between Syria and the Golan Heights, a territory under Israeli occupation.
