Horrifying warning from Putin: "Oreshnik" will turn you into dust
At the CSTO Summit in Astana, Russian President Vladimir Putin presented some features of the new "Oreshnik" missile.
At the Collective Security Treaty Organization CSTO Summit in Astana, Russian President Vladimir Putin presented some features of the new "Oreshnik" missile.
Russia knows all the characteristics of the enemy's weapons and all the information about their deliveries to Ukraine, President of Russia announced.
"We know, of course, how many systems are in the potential adversary's arsenal, how many are in warehouses, where exactly they are located, how many weapons have been delivered to Ukraine and how many are planned for delivery," the Russian leader pointed out.
There is no counterpart to the "Oreshnik" in the world, nor will it appear soon, Putin added and stated that their mass use is comparable to a nuclear attack. Russia currently has several more of them, and their serial production has already begun.
"Everything that is in the epicenter of the explosion is divided into parts, elementary particles and turns into dust," said Putin, pointing out that the temperature of the elements of Oreshnik reaches four thousand degrees.
According to him, Russia had to test a new missile in response to long-range missile attacks on the Bryansk and Kursk regions.
The General Staff and the Ministry of Defense are currently determining the targets for "Oreshnik" on the territory of Ukraine. Command centers in Kyiv may be among the targets, Novosti reported.
Putin also emphasized that Russia produces 10 times more missiles than all NATO countries combined, that it will increase production by a quarter. As he pointed out, all Western missiles delivered to Kyiv have larger and stronger counterparts in the Russian armed forces.
"The Russian analogue of all three ATACMS modifications is the Iskander missile system," Russian president said, adding that the Iskander has a similar warhead mass in TNT equivalent.
"Iskander has a longer range," Putin said, adding that the new US PrSM precision-strike missile is in no way superior to its Russian counterparts in terms of parameters.
These are the characteristics of the "Oreshnik" rocket, which were presented by Putin:
The "Oreshnik" rocket can hit even highly protected and deep underground objects. Everything in the epicenter of the explosion is broken into elementary particles, essentially turning into dust.
Russia will respond to the continuation of strikes with Western long-range weapons, including the possible continuation of combat tests of the "Oreshnik" missile.
Russia already has several Oreshnik systems ready for use.
"Oreshnik" is not a weapon of mass destruction, but a high-precision weapon without a nuclear charge. Targets for strikes in Ukraine are currently being considered.
These may be decision-making centers in Kyiv. Russia will choose the means of attack depending on the nature of the targets and the threats they pose to Russia.
