Ukrainians surrender VIDEO
The Ukrainian crew of drone operators surrendered to the Russians and now they are in captivity, together with their equipment, in the Kharkiv region, the security agency of Russia told RIA Novosti.
"The crew of two drone operators from the 114th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was operating in the area of the Novimlinsk settlement in the direction of Kharkiv, voluntarily laid down their weapons and surrendered to the soldiers of the Western Army group together with their equipment and a drone," an agency source said.
The drone footage of the surrender of Ukrainian soldiers was provided to RIA Novosti, according to that agency.
Vitaly Ganchev, the head of Russia's Kharkiv regional administration, said on Tuesday that heavy fighting was taking place in several areas of the region.
On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian troops had taken control of the village of Kopanki in the Kharkiv region.
