The Russians fired an intercontinental ballistic missile at Ukraine.
The Ukrainian military stated that the H-47M2 "Kinzhal" ballistic missile was fired, and that it was launched together with seven cruise missiles.
"On the morning of November 21, 2024, in the period from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., Russian troops attacked the city of Dnipro (enterprises and key infrastructure) with rockets of various types," the Air Force of Ukraine announced on the official Telegram channel.
Specifically, it says, the intercontinental ballistic missile was launched from the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation.
"An H-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile was also launched from a MiG-31K fighter plane, from the Tambov region," adds the Ukrainian military.
They state that seven more H-101 cruise missiles were launched from Tu-95MS strategic bombers, from the Volgograd region.
The Air Force of Ukraine states that its air defenses shot down six H-101 missiles, and that there were no significant consequences from the impact of the others.
In the conclusion of the announcement, it is stated that information about the victims has not yet been collected.
