More than 100 rockets launched at Israel; The commander was killed; Hezbollah institutions affected

At least two Israeli airstrikes hit Beirut early this morning, and four people were killed in an attack by Israeli forces on a residential building in Nabatia in southern Lebanon.

About a hundred rockets were launched from Lebanon at Israel today, which set off sirens in the Western and Upper Galilee regions, according to a statement from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The commander of the IDF's 401st Armored Brigade, Col. Ehsan Daxa, was killed during fighting in the northern Gaza Strip earlier today, the military said.
