One woman was killed, and the number of injured in the Russian rocket attack on Nikolaev rose to 16, it was announced on the Facebook account of the Nikolaev Regional Administration.

"On the night of October 15, around 2:00 a.m., Russian forces attacked Nikolaev, apparently with S-300 type rockets. An infrastructure building, a catering complex, a shopping center, residential buildings and cars were damaged and fires broke out. One woman was killed, 16 people were injured, three received ambulatory care," said the statement of the Nikolaev Regional Administration, reports Ukrinform.

On Monday at 11:30 a.m., Russian troops also shelled the village of Estuari in the Halicenov community, and in that attack a private house, a business building and agricultural machinery were damaged, but there were no casualties.

On the night of October 15, Ukrainian forces and air defense units destroyed three Shahed-136/131 Russian unmanned aerial vehicles in the Mykolaiv region, and the Ukrainian Air Force previously warned of the threat of ballistic missile attacks from the south.
