A complete disaster in Gaza: In nine days, around 300 people were killed

Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hussam Abu Safiya, said that medical workers were faced with a large number of casualties arriving at the hospital after heavy fighting, reports CNN.

He added that the Jabaliya camp was "completely surrounded", which made it impossible to bring medical supplies, food, as well as the arrival of specialized medical teams needed there.

The Israeli military asked local residents to evacuate the area, though many residents told CNN it was too dangerous to leave.

After the heavy fighting ended, emergency workers were unable to recover dozens of those who were killed, so many bodies were left on the streets, reports CNN.

The Israeli army invaded Jabalia again earlier this month after saying there were signs of "the presence of terrorists and terrorist infrastructure in the area", this is the third ground operation by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on the Jabalia camp.
