It has now been downgraded to a Category 2 hurricane and winds are now reaching 177 kilometers per hour.

Much of Florida is without power and after an evacuation warning, people are now being told not to move.

Also, it was noted that if they suddenly feel complete peace around them and their shelter, they must not go out because they are probably in the eye of the storm.

According to the latest information from the US National Hurricane Center, more than 120 warnings for devastating tornadoes have been issued in the Florida area.
