As "Gazeta10" reports, Edi Rama pushed the SIRI television reporter after she asked him a question.

Allegedly, the journalist asked the prime minister "why Albanian taxpayers' money is going to the new port, while private investor's apartments are being sold in the current port of Durrës".

After that, there was physical contact, and everything happened while he was surrounded by press teams. The entire incident was recorded on camera.

"Please don't touch me again," said the journalist, as Rama left after the incident.

The Association of Journalists of Albania reacted immediately.

"The physical touch of journalists is a violation of the Code of Ethics and physical integrity, Mr. Prime Minister," the Union's announcement states.

As it is pointed out, the journalist Ambrozia Meta was attacked.

"According to professional law, she insisted on a specific answer from the Prime Minister at the press conference on March 19, 2024. The Prime Minister not only did not give a specific answer to a specific question, but also avoided the obligation to give a specific figure for possible public benefit of one of the biggest projects in the field of Albanian tourism," the announcement added.
