A city bus full of passengers was hijacked in Los Angeles this morning, followed by a chase with the police around the city. Los Angeles police briefly stated that one person was injured and that the suspect was taken into custody.

According to reports on social networks, the bus was surrounded by strong special forces after catching up with it.

It is also stated that a shot was heard and that it is suspected that the kidnapper, about whom nothing is known at the moment, shot at one of the passengers.


The spokesman of the Los Angeles police briefly said, reports the American NBS News, that one person was seriously injured and was on the way to the hospital, as well as that the bus driver managed to leave the hijacked vehicle, with the help of the SWAT team, unharmed.


A photo is also being shared on the X social network, which is claimed to show the moment the bus driver escaped.


It was also reported on social media that a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said that the kidnapper had been arrested.
