The Ukrainian army shot down 28 Russian drones and four X-59/69 missiles

Last night, the Ukrainian Air Force shot down 28 Russian Shahed drones and four X-59/69 guided missiles, and four Russian drones crashed uncontrollably in several regions of Ukraine, the command of the Ukrainian Air Force announced.

There were no victims or material damage, reports Ukrinform.

"Russian forces attacked the Kharkiv region with an S-300 guided missile and three missiles of an unspecified type. The Odessa region was attacked with four X-59/69 guided missiles fired from the airspace over the Black Sea, as well as 32 Shahed-type drones," it said in the statement.

Air defense systems were also activated in the regions of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Kirovograd, Sumy, Poltava, Nikolaev, Odessa and Kherson.

Erdogan met with Zelensky

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky in New York and said Ankara would make efforts to revive the food agreement and ceasefire in Ukraine.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the United Nations is turning a blind eye to the excesses of Ukrainian forces during the incursion into Russia's Kursk region.

In an interview with TASS on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, Lavrov said that Ukrainian "terrorist groups", as he stated, use Western weapons for attacks on Kursk in which they do not distinguish between targets.
