Former U.S. President and Republican candidate in the upcoming presidential elections Donald Trump rejected the possibility of running for the White House in 2028 in case he loses the elections in November.

Asked if he intends to run again if he loses on November 5, Trump told "Full Measure" television that he will not run again.

"No, I won't. I think that will be it. I'm not thinking about it at all," he pointed out.

The statement came after a recent poll by NBC News showed US Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris leading by five percentage points over Trump, the British Telegraph reported.

The poll showed that Harris currently has 49 percent of the vote among registered voters, compared to 44 percent for Trump.
