Biden is considering allowing Ukraine to target Russia?!

Antony Blinken said this after he told a press conference in London that Iran had supplied Moscow with short-range missiles and that Vladimir Putin "will probably use them in a few weeks in Ukraine."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on the US and other Western allies to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles to target targets in Russia to increase pressure on Moscow to end the war.

Iran is supplying Russia with ballistic missiles, the US claims. In an interview with Sky News, Blinken was asked whether the US president might consider allowing such a move as the conflict rages. Blinken said the US had made sure Ukraine had "what it needed, when it needed it, to be effective in repelling Russian aggression" since an invasion by Moscow forces in February 2022.

However, he added that Washington had to consider other factors, such as whether Ukrainian forces could use and maintain "sophisticated systems" provided by Western allies.

He continued: "All of those things have to be taken into account in making this decision. But what I can tell you is that we've adapted and adjusted every step of the way and we will continue to do so - so we're not ruling out that possibility in this phase".
