NATO country raises fighter jets; Citizens have been warned

As they emphasized earlier from Kyiv, the anti-aircraft defense shot down a series of missiles that had as their final goal the capital of Ukraine, and just a few hours after the attack, the Polish air force announced itself and sent a warning to the citizens.

"We note that in the southeastern part of the country, there may be an increased level of noise due to the start of operations of Polish and allied aircraft in our airspace," they stated.

After that, they also referred to the Russian attacks.

"Last night, the activity of long-range aviation of the Russian Federation intensified on the territory of Ukraine. The last such increased activity of Russian aviation was recorded on August 27 of this year. All necessary procedures have been initiated to ensure the safety of Polish airspace, and the operational command of the Armed Forces of Poland is constantly monitoring the situation", they stated.

By the way, Ukrainian officials stated that the new Russian attack was combined. The cruise missiles (potentially Kh-101) were most likely fired around three in the morning from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Saratov region of the Russian Federation.

After complex maneuvers, those rockets entered Kyiv from the south.

At the same time as the cruise missiles approached the capital, the enemy launched KN-24/Iskander-M ballistic missiles over Kyiv and its suburbs.
