Orban received an "offer": Exit the EU
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski, expressed doubts about the necessity of Hungary's EU and NATO membership after Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán's statement that Warsaw is leading a hypocritical policy towards Moscow.
Bartoszewski emphasized that, unlike Orban, his country does not do business with Russia after the attack on Ukraine and that his policy is currently anti-European, anti-Ukrainian and anti-Polish, PAP reported.
"I don't understand why Hungary wants to remain a member of organizations that they don't like so much and that allegedly treat them badly," said Bartoszewski.
He wondered why Orban doesn't create a Union with Putin and some authoritarian states of the kind?
"It's as simple as this: if you don't want to be a member of a club, you can always leave," he added.
