The airport continued to operate: It was evacuated due to a bomb threat?
Air traffic has been re-established today at Basel-Miluse Airport, in France, near the border of Switzerland, which was previously evacuated due to a bomb alert, the airport management announced.
"The airport has been reopened and air operations are gradually being re-established," says Euroairport.
The traffic of high-speed trains in France has been disrupted since this morning due to arson on the railway infrastructure.
Basel-Mulhouse Airport is also called Basel-Milhouse-Freiburg because it is 45 kilometers from Freiburg in Germany, only 3.5 kilometers from Basel in Switzerland and 20 kilometers from Mulhouse in France.
"For security reasons, the terminal had to be evacuated and is currently closed," it was stated earlier on the website of that international airport.
