Russia under attack; Fierce fighting in progress VIDEO

Videos of alleged fights where gunshots and explosions are heard are spreading on social networks.

We have begun to fulfill our promise. Fierce fighting continues in the territory of the Russian Federation," they added.

Kursk Oblast Governor Roman Starovoyt announced that a sabotage-reconnaissance group tried to penetrate the area near the village, but the attack was repelled. "There was an attempt to break through the sabotage-reconnaissance group, shooting was heard, but there was no breakthrough," he said.

He added that during the incursion of the partisans, Ukrainian forces shelled the village, in which one person was wounded.

Ukrainian Military Intelligence Service (GUR) spokesman Andriy Yusov noted that the disputed units are made up of Russian citizens.

FSB: It is not true
