An unprecedented footage of the assassination attempt of Trump surfaced VIDEO

Initially dazed, Trump told the agents to let him get his shoes as he got off the ground. Footage released by WBEN captures a never-before-seen angle behind Trump amid the chaos as he searches for his shoes.

It shows the Secret Service fighting with Trump and taking off his shoes and throwing them off the stage.

In an interview the day after the assassination, Trump revealed how he ran out of shoes.

"The agents hit me so hard that my shoes fell off, and they are tight," he said. The former US president praised the speed and strength of his security. He said he only got a bruise on his arm from a Secret Service agent holding him down on the floor.

"Do you know how strong you have to be to do that? They did a fantastic job," Trump added.

Two days after the assassination, Trump appeared at the Republican Convention where he was officially nominated as the party's candidate in the elections.
