"Bomb": Trump is negotiating with Putin?
US presidential candidate Donald Trump is negotiating with Russian leader Vladimir Putin about how much Ukrainian land the Kremlin can keep for itself, Politico writes.
Citing two national security experts, the media said that Trump is considering an agreement under which NATO would commit not to expand into Ukraine and Georgia and negotiate with Putin about "how much Ukrainian territory Moscow can keep."
Trump also expects European members to dramatically increase spending on NATO when he becomes president.
In addition, as experts pointed out, Trump is allegedly planning a "radical reorientation" of NATO.
"It is unlikely that Trump will immediately leave NATO, but even if he does not officially leave the organization, it does not mean that NATO will survive Trump's second term unchanged," the source said.
Immediately after the writing in Politico, the official Kremlin announced that President Vladimir Putin and the former US president "do not participate in the dialogue on Ukraine."
The press secretary of the Russian head of state of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, asked to comment on the information conveyed by the Western media that the Russian leader and the candidate in the upcoming presidential elections in the USA are allegedly holding a dialogue on the conditions for achieving peace in Ukraine, briefly said: "It is not so".
