A strong storm created chaos
Austrian province of Tyrol was hit by a severe storm, a day after around 50 people were evacuated in Styria due to floods caused by heavy rainfall.
The cities of Kufstein and Kitzbühel were particularly affected by heavy rainfall, and emergency services are constantly on the ground due to fallen trees and landslides, reports Non.
An elevated water level is expected today on the Inn River, and the head of the Tyrolean Center for Crisis and Disaster Management, Elmar Rizzoli, called on citizens not to approach the river and to avoid flooded underpasses.
In the city of Schaffau am Wilden Kaiser, several roofs of houses and cars were damaged.
