The Iranian government has called an emergency meeting for today following the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and the country's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in a helicopter crash, the Iranian state news agency IRNA reported.
According to a photo released by the agency, the chair Raisi usually sits on is empty and covered with black tape in memory of the president, CNN reported.
