"We should do everything to prevent the Third World War. Otherwise, a nuclear apocalypse is inevitable. That's why we should all unite," Lukashenko said at the ceremony of laying flowers on the Victory monument as part of the patriotic action "Belarus Remembers" in Minsk.

He pointed out that humanity has already managed to unite against general evil once in its history, which led to victory. Lukashenko added that the collective West, just like before the beginning of the Second World War, is ready to settle with any evil for the sake of preserving dominance and personal profit.

On the occasion of joint military exercises between Moscow and Minsk on the use of tactical nuclear weapons, Lukashenko said that Russia and Belarus do not intend to attack anyone.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Belarus will join Russia in the second phase of the exercise to test the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons.
