Earlier, the German Prosecutor General's Office confirmed the detention in Bayreuth, in Bavaria, of two people suspected of allegedly spying for Russia, RIA Novosti reported.

"It's just... I don't have any information about this," Peskov told reporters.

According to the German prosecutor's office, two suspects, Dieter S. and Alexander J, were detained yesterday in Bayreuth and accused of working for the Russian intelligence service.

According to the prosecution, both allegedly agreed to carry out sabotage activities in Germany and were prepared to plant explosives and set fires at strategic points, including US military bases, in order to delay the sending of military aid to Ukraine.

Two men were also accused of taking photos of military facilities. Dieter S. has allegedly been in contact with a person connected to the Russian intelligence services since October last year, the German prosecutor's office stated. The arrested person was also involved in military operations on the side of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic from 2014-2016, the prosecution stated. From March of this year, Aleksander J. joined the activities of Dieter S., the prosecution announced.
