Former director of Mossad said: All options are "on the table"
The former director of intelligence at Israel's Mossad intelligence agency says that targeting nuclear facilities in Iran is one of the options to respond to an attack on Israel, writes Sky News.
Zohar Palti spoke about possible forms of response after Iran fired more than 300 missiles and drones at Israel.
Asked if everything is on the table, including targeting nuclear facilities, Palti said:
"There's no question. Everything is on the table right now."
Asked if that included nuclear facilities, he said: "Including everything."
Iran temporarily shut down its nuclear facilities on Sunday for "security reasons," and the International Atomic Energy Agency kept its inspector away for two days.
The attack on Israel followed an allegedly deadly Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria.
The IDF said 99 percent of weapons fired at Israel failed to penetrate its powerful anti-aircraft defenses.
However, as reported by the media, the Israeli government will not carry out retaliation for Iran's massive attack on Israeli territory last weekend.
