Poland raised fighter jets: Are the Russians coming?
Operational command of the Polish army announced early this morning that the warplanes of that country and its NATO ally are operating in Polish airspace due to a major Russian missile attack on Ukraine.
In a post on the social network X (formerly Twitter), it is stated that due to the lifting of those planes, "the level of noise has increased, especially in the southeastern parts of Poland.
"Tonight, the intensive activity of the long-range aviation of the Russian Federation was monitored, related to missile strikes on objects located on the territory of Ukraine. All necessary procedures were initiated with the aim of ensuring the safety of Polish airspace, and the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Poland is constantly monitoring the situation," the announcement reads.
