War enters second gear - possible escalation?

"I am very worried, not only about what is happening around Kosovo and Metohija and in the region, because I am afraid that the situation in Ukraine will enter a different gear and that it will give rise to many, new problems on the whole of European soil and beyond," he said.

Vučić said that in a statement to the media in Paris after the France-Serbia Business Council, where he met with representatives of the French business association Movement of French Entrepreneurs - MEDEF International.

He added that it is very important for Serbia to find a way to solve its issues in the future and that in addition to energy security, it must also solve the issue of food, armaments, but also the army and production within the Serbian dedicated industry.

"When you lead the country, you have to look at all the issues, all the problems, make sure there are no big holes in the barrel, close them as strongly as possible for as long as possible, and then from time to time reconstruct that barrel part by part until you make it completely new," said Vučić.

He added that Serbia is acting accordingly and that the Government of Serbia is looking to do everything possible so that the country can progress rapidly.

"You saw here on MEDEF that people are satisfied with the speed of progress of the Serbian state. All our economic parameters are good," said Vučić.
