Brutal strike: The army's weak point is hit
During the weekend, the Ukrainian armed forces attacked energy facilities in Crimea and the Belgorod region, despite agreements to stop attacks on energy facilities, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced today.

"On Sunday evening, from 9:00 p.m. to 9:50 p.m. Moscow time, Russian air defense systems repelled an attack by Ukrainian forces on the Glebovsko gas-condensate field on Cape Tarkhankut in Crimea, which is used to supply gas to residents and the economy of the Russian military peninsula," the statement said.
It is noted that the Ukrainian forces carried out the attack using four drones, reports RIA Novosti.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that on Saturday morning, Ukrainian militants carried out two drone strikes on the Valuyka gas station in Shvedunovka, Belgorod region, damaging the station's technological equipment.
"Ukrainian armed forces are violating the energy ceasefire, contrary to the words of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, and are using unmanned aerial vehicles and American HIMARS missile systems for strikes. This once again proves the inability of the Kyiv regime to negotiate," concluded the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
Last Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to US President Donald Trump's proposal that Russia and Ukraine mutually stop attacks on energy infrastructure for 30 days and ordered the Russian military to stop them, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also accepted that initiative.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that he defended Ukraine's dignity during a tense public conversation with US President Donald Trump at the White House at the end of February.
"During the conversation with Trump in the White House, I defended the dignity of Ukraine... Why did the Ukrainians defend themselves at the beginning of this war? It was for dignity. We do not consider ourselves some kind of superpower," Zelensky said in an interview with The Times.
He stated that Ukrainians are very emotional, and that when their feelings of dignity, freedom, and democracy are threatened, that nation rises up and unites.
Zelensky said that during a stormy meeting with Trump in the Oval Office last month, he had the impression that the US was "not taking the position of an ally".
