"Europeans, you will end up in a concentration camp..."

Angus made the comments just days after the Trump administration deported 238 Venezuelan nationals to the Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT) in El Salvador.

That prison is known for overcrowding and allegations of abuse and torture of prisoners.

Trump used the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 for these deportations, which allows the US to deport foreigners without trial.

The administration claims the deported Venezuelans are linked to the Tren de Aragua crime group, but has so far offered no credible evidence for those allegations.

"We know that if he gets away with this, there's no reason why tomorrow a Canadian, a German or someone from Great Britain shouldn't end up deported to some Salvadoran concentration camp," Angus said Thursday.

"Because that's what's happening right now in the United States, with the rule of law being completely trampled on," he added.

"Canada is a country of the rule of law, Canada is a democratic country. Canada must stand firm now. I urge people not to travel to the United States, to continue boycotting, to remain strong, because Canada will never kiss the ring of that gangster," said Angus.

Angus to Trump: You licked Putin's shoes

"We are the real ones, we are the north, we are strong, we are free, we will not bend and we will not give up an inch," said Angus.

He has long been a vocal critic of Trump and recently mocked what he called "Trump's stupidity."

Angus told the left-leaning social network MeidasTouch that Canada wants to normalize trade relations with the US, "but if you decide to declare us an enemy, Donald, then we're going to fight to the end and you're going to lose."

Speaking about the US economy, Angus said that "everything is starting to turn into a circus". "You have to understand, Donald, that the economy is bigger, smarter and more serious than your stupidity," he said.

He also criticized Trump's decision to normalize relations with Russia while the war in Ukraine continues.

"You licked Putin's shoes, you bowed to him like an obedient boy scout," Angus said.

"That man is a war criminal, it's a shame, you also licked North Korea, and now your biggest enemy in the world is Canada because you thought we would be an easy target," he concluded.
