"The worst is yet to come"
Five members of the staff of the United Nations Palestine Humanitarian Agency (UNRWA) have been killed in recent days, said the Commissioner General of that agency, Philippe Lazzarini.

"Five additional UNRWA staff members have been confirmed killed in recent days, bringing the death toll to 284. They were teachers, doctors and nurses who serve the most vulnerable," the Commissioner General of the United Nations Palestine Humanitarian Agency (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said in a statement posted on IX, Reuters reported.
Lazzarini said he feared "the worst is yet to come" as Israeli bombardments are ongoing.
The Secretary-General of the United Nations yesterday condemned the attacks on the organization's staff after a staff member of the United Nations Office for Project Services was killed when two UN sites in Deir al-Balah were hit by attacks.
In his spokesman's statement, he added that all parties to the Israeli attack on Gaza knew where the UN premises were located.
