Definitely, Putin does not want to end the war?
The EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, said today that the conditions that Russia presented in order to agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine show that Moscow does not want peace.

"The conditions they presented show that they don't really want peace, because through conditions they present all their ultimate goals that they want to achieve from the war," Kallas told reporters in Brussels after arriving at the EU Council for Foreign Affairs meeting.
A meeting of the EU Council for Foreign Affairs is being held in Brussels today, during which they should discuss the war in Ukraine, EU-US relations, the situation in the Middle East, Iran and Syria, and Kallas said that the outbreak of violence in Syria is very worrying and shows that "hope in Syria hangs in the balance".
She added that during today's conference on Syria, which will be held after the meeting, to discuss what can be done to ensure that Syria is a stable and peaceful country. Commenting on the trade relations between the EU and the US, she stated that it will not be discussed at the level of the EU foreign affairs minister because it is dealt with by the trade commissioner, but she said that "if trade wars are launched against us, we will react and protect our interests".
"But that's not something we want to do," Kallas said.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko previously told Izvestia newspaper that Russia will demand firm guarantees for peace in Ukraine. He added that Moscow will demand the neutral status of Ukraine and the refusal of NATO member countries to accept it as a member of the Alliance.
