Olga's best tennis! With the biggest victory in her career, Danilović equaled the record and reached Round 16
The best Serbian female tennis player Olga Danilović achieved the biggest victory in her career by defeating the sixth tennis player in the world Jessica Pegula in straight sets 7:6 (3), 6:1.

With this triumph, Danilović climbed to the 41st place on the WTA list, which is her best career ranking, reached the furthest ever at the Australian Open - round of 16 and equaled the record from last year, when she managed to reach the mentioned round at Roland Garros.
In the first set, we witnessed an uncertain battle, none of the players managed to get a break, which led the duel to a tie-break.
In the decisive moments, Olga showed calmness and precision, winning the tie-break with a score of 7:3. Her strong shots and good serves "nailed" Pegula to the baseline, leaving her without an answer.
The second set brought a completely different picture.
Although the start was even, with one service game won by both sides, the key moment came in the third game.
Pegula then missed four break points, which clearly shook her confidence.
From that moment, Olga Danilović took complete control on the court, not allowing her opponent to win a single game until the end of the match.
Olga will play in the round of 16 against Paula Badosa, who defeated Marta Kostyuk.
