Serbia in the play-offs - here's when we will get a rival
Serbian national football team finished the A division of the League of Nations in third place, which means that they will have to play playoffs for survival in the elite rank.

With a draw with Denmark, along with numerous missed chances, Serbia "chose" the more difficult path to the World Cup in 2026, since on December 13, they will be in the second "hat" in the draw for the qualifications.
Also, they will have to fight for survival in the A division of the League of Nations, against some of the second-placed national teams from the B division.
The draw will be held already on Friday, November 22, and for now, two potential rivals are known. They are: Greece and Austria, and there will also be the runners-up from groups 1 and 4 of the B division.
There is real drama in Group 1, as all four selections could finish in second place.
In group 4, the closest to that is the selection of Wales, but the last round on Tuesday will reveal the whole situation.
The Nations League play-off quarter-finals will be played on March 20 and 23, 2025.
