The spectacular shot of Stojačić - Serbia in the drama "broke" the Dutch

"It wasn't good, we were lucky, but we won. I played terrible the whole match, missed a couple of open shots, made a couple of unnecessary fouls and I'm not happy with my performance. When I play like this, we have to find another solution. Terrible two matches, we didn't play at our level. It's important for confidence. I'm in a bad rhythm, and I need to pull the team. Lucky shot at the end," said Stojačić.
 

On Wednesday, Serbia lost to China, and before that, at the start of the Games in Paris, USA was defeated.

"It seemed like a slap in the face of reality because we played perfectly against the USA and that result was not realistic, and then a total counter. Maybe it's a good thing that it's happening like this, we remember that in Tokyo we won all matches in the group, then lost in the semi-finals".

Mihailo Vasić is playing with a mask on his face due to an injury sustained against USA.

"We are looking for a mask for him, he has a fracture and he insisted on playing. We couldn't find a mask last night, but some of the basketball players will send it."

Serbia will play against France on Thursday at 22:35.

"They have 2:0 and are playing well, let's go for the win and after two bad games, we should play a good one," concluded Stojačić.
