The miracle known as Novak Djokovic: From crutches to Wimbledon victory in 26 days
Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic had a convincing start at this year's edition of Wimbledon.

Novak Djokovic suffered a meniscus injury in Paris, due to which he had to withdraw before the quarterfinal duel with Casper Ruud.
Then the Serbian tennis player underwent an operation, 26 days ago he was walking on crutches, but he managed to recover and play at Wimbledon, on the way of his preparing for the Olympic Games in Paris.
Now Djokovic convincingly defeated Kopriva and advanced to the second round of Wimbledon.
"I just had to make some tough decisions related to the meniscus injury I suffered in the last match. I'm still going through certain processes and I'm happy that the surgery went so well. I'm happy that I had such a team of doctors who were there for me. Thanks to the fans for all the support. I will do my best to be ready and return to the court as soon as possible. My love for this sport is strong and I want to compete at the highest level," Djokovic wrote after the operation.
Djokovic will play Jacob Fearnley in the second round.
