Let's remind you, by the will of the balls, the 24 national teams that secured placement at the Eurobasket were divided into four groups with six teams each. Matches in Group A will be played in Riga, Latvia, Group B will be located in Tampere, Finland, Group C in Limassol, Cyprus and Group D in Katowice, Poland.

The four host national teams were given the opportunity to choose one rival each, so Latvia chose Estonia, Finland chose Lithuania, Cyprus chose Greece, while Poland chose Iceland.

There were more "concessions", so the Turkish national team could not be in Group C with Cyprus and Greece, and since all the teams from the second hat have already been placed in their groups - it was clear that Slovenia would end up in Group D.

According to the latest FIBA ranking, published before the last qualification window, Serbia is characterized as the first favorite for gold at the EuroBasket, which takes place from August 27 to September 14.

Svetislav Pešić's team finished the qualifiers in Group G without defeat. They took first place with a score of 6-0, defeating Denmark, Finland and Georgia.
