Partizan's hero after Virtus: It is most important to do "dirty" things

In the 25th round of the Euroleague, Partizan achieved a very important victory in Bologna against Virtus with a score of 81:71.

Lakić summed up his impressions after the match.

"I think the main thing was character in this game. After the derby at home, we needed to clear our heads and be ready for this difficult away game. The fans gave us energy again, and we needed that after the fall and defeat against Red Star. We didn't give up when things went a little worse, we fought and played excellent defense in the last three quarters," said 25-year-old Lakić, adding:

"The defense is the most important thing, from it there is always an open shot, there is a penetration, there are easy shots... We were really focused, we knew that we should get up, that is the most important thing this time".

He finished the game scoring 2 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists and a steal each.

"I'm not interested in statistics at all. The most important thing is to do 'dirty' things, that's what wins games - it wasn't just me who did it, but others too".

Already on Friday from 19:00, Partizan will visit Monaco.

"We believe in victory. We need to be focused, Monaco plays much faster than Virtus. You can see from the scoreboard what kind of team it is. We have as much time as possible to prepare, we will be focused," concluded Lakić.
