Policemen with shovels headed towards the house where Danka disappeared VIDEO
The search for two-year-old Danka Ilić, who disappeared on Tuesday in Banjsko Polje near Bor, continues for the fifth day, and the search of the nearby Bor Lake is being considered, reports Tanjug reporter.
Police patrols are still securing the yard from which the girl disappeared.
After four days of searching, there is still no sign of the missing girl.
A police car carrying shovels and other tools passed through Banjsko Polje and went to the house where the missing Danka Ilić (2) was last seen.
According to Telegraf reporters from the scene, it is not yet known whether members of the police will use them to dig in the mentioned area.
Helicopters will fly over Banjsko polje and Lake Bor
A pair of helicopters is currently flying over Banjsko polje and Lake Bor in search of missing Danka Ilić (2), who disappeared on March 26 around 1:45 p.m. in this place.
Two helicopters are flying over Banjsko Polje, where the girl was last seen, but also over Lake Bor.
As reported by Telegraf reporters from the scene, one flies very low over the house where little Danka was last seen.
"One flies over the entire village and reduces altitude where the terrain is inaccessible," reports the Telegraf team from the field.
The police also search Lake Bor?
The search for Danka Ilić (2) has been going on for 120 hours, and after an extensive search of the area around the house where she was last seen, there are speculations that the search will move to the area around Lake Bor.
As reported by Telegraf reporters from the scene, for now there is no indication that these speculations will come true. However, considering that this lake is perhaps the largest body of water in the territory of the Bor district, all options are possible.
Lake Bor is up to 52 meters deep
Lake Bor is an artificial lake located at the foot of the Crni vrh mountain near Bor.
The lake water is primarily intended for the operations of the Mining and Smelting Basin, but also for the development of tourism.
This lake can occupy an area of up to 79 hectares, and the volume of the reservoir is 10.55 million cubic meters.
At the time of maximum water level, it holds up to 12,000,000 cubic meters of water, so in its deepest points it can be up to 52 meters deep.
The highest water levels are in spring, and the lowest in late summer and early autumn. The difference between the maximum and minimum water level exceeds 10 meters.
However, due to the drought, the lake currently has a very low water level, Telegraf meteorologist Djordje Djurić revealed.
"The water level of the lake is currently several tens of meters lower due to the drought," says Djurić.
He also states that the water in this lake is very clean, so it is transparent up to two meters deep.
